The present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for displaying a three-dimensional image using a DFD method. The three-dimensional image display method comprises the following steps: obtaining two-dimensional image information and depth information about a subject; displaying a two-dimensional image using the two-dimensional image information; dividing the two-dimensional image into multiple images with various depths by selectively reflecting the displayed two-dimensional image according to the depth information; aligning the multiple display panels corresponding to each divided image; synchronizing the point of projecting each divided image with the point of operating each display panel corresponding to each divided image; and projecting each divided image on each corresponding display panel. The apparatus and the method for displaying a three-dimensional image according to the present invention displays a high quality three-dimensional image and displays a three-dimensional image in real time by increasing image processing speed.
