PURPOSE: A damping cylinder is provided to improve reliability as rapidly returning a piston to an original position by an elastic force of a compression spring in ascent of the piston. CONSTITUTION: A damping cylinder(200) comprises a piston(203), a piston rod(204), a cap(209), and a compression spring(202). A pushing member(205) is attached on the piston rod. The cap is installed at the top of a cylinder(200a) and covers the piston rod. The compression spring is embedded inside the cylinder. When the piston is compressed, damping action of hydraulic fluid pressurized by the piston and damping action caused by elastic rebounding action of the compression spring are implemented. When the piston ascends, the piston is rapidly returned to the original position by the elastic rebound force of the compression spring. |
