摘要 The present invention relates to a ground condition sensing robot cleaner and a ground condition sensing method using the same along with a method of robot cleaner control, and provides a robot cleaner capable of sensing ground conditions and comprising; an intake housing rotatably installed around an axis in the lower part of a robot cleaner or installed so as to allow up and down motion; and an intake unit configured with a rotary cylindrical part rotatably installed inside the intake housing; while being characterize by; including a position measuring part to measure an amount of position shift of the intake unit; and sensing ground conditions according to the amount of position shift upon occurrence of the amount of position shift in the position measuring part; and sensing the ground condition using the same; and being able to adjust a running pattern or a suction force according to the sensed ground condition. Hence, a robot cleaner capable of sensing ground conditions is provided that can improve cleaning efficiencies by adjusting a suction force or a running pattern of the robot cleaner corresponding to sensing of ground conditions through measurement of an amount of position shift of the intake unit positioned in the lower part of the robot cleaner, along with a ground condition sensing method using the same as well as a method of robot cleaner control.
