A control unit in a trespass detection system determines the transmitting order of a plurality of sensor nodes installed at each location, receives the transmitted packets from the sensor nodes according to the transmitting order, and measures the intensity of the received radio wave signals of the received packets. The control unit determines that a trespasser exists if any intensity among the intensities measured by the sensor nodes is smaller than a reference intensity and calculates the location of the trespasser from the location of at least one sensor node, among the sensor nodes, of which the measured intensity is smaller than the reference intensity.
