The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of rolls for transferring articles and rolls manufactured thereby. and is aimed at drastically reducing manufacturing costs and operating man-hours while simultaneously securing strength and flexibility by eliminating need s for assembling stainless steel pipes for electrolytic plating of a chromic layer or coating with a metal layer upon manufacturing rolls made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) or carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) with formation of a chromic layer. For this purpose, the present invention is characterized by a method of manufacturing rolls for transferring articles comprising; a) a stage of producing a shaft (1) and shaft assembly members (2) with a metal; and b) a stage of assembling the shaft (1) and the shaft assembly members (2) to both ends of a roll pipe (3) made of FRP or CFRP; and c) a stage of forming a chromic layer (6) on the surface of the roll pipe(3); and further comprising ; d) a stage of forming a bond layer (10) on the surface of the roll pipe (3) before the stage c); and e) a stage of forming a conductive plastic layer (20) on the surface of the bond layer (10); and f) a stage of polishing the conductive plastic layer (20).
