PURPOSE: A Doherty amplifier including a drain bias boost or modulation circuit of a picking amplifier is provided to improve a maximum output degradation due to a low bias voltage and to enhance linearity. CONSTITUTION: A Doherty amplifier (200) includes a drain bias boost circuit (210), a carrier amplifier (250), and a picking amplifier (260). The carrier amplifier and the picking amplifier are connected in parallel. The drain bias boost circuit boosts an inputted voltage, and supplies the boosted voltage to a transistor which is included in the picking amplifier. The drain bias boost circuit includes at least one of a voltage booster, regulator, and DC-DC converter or transformer.
