Disclosed is an aeration apparatus having the suction force of air doubled under the condition of the same power to suck water in an inflow pipe part for sucking air at the initial point of start-up without using a separate tool. The aeration apparatus comprises a hollow casing containing a motor; a mixing part installed in front of the casing, having a ventpipe formed in a radial direction, and having the driving axis of the motor extending to penetrate forward from behind; an impeller installed in the mixing part to be able to rotate and connected to the driving axis to generate a flow in the radial direction of the mixing part; a suction housing installed in front of the mixing part and having a plurality of suction holes formed; and an inflow part for air penetrating the suction housing backward from the front thereof and having an extension part extending toward the impeller. The aeration apparatus includes a supplementary suction part extending forward toward the impeller to be inserted into the extension part and rotating with the impeller to supply a suction force to fluid in the inflow part for air. Accordingly aeration can be conducted efficiently also in the deep by doubling the suction force of air under the condition of the same power so as to suck water in the inflow pipe part for sucking air at the initial point of start-up without using a separate tool. |
