An electronic device with a touch screen and an information inputting method using the electronic device are provided to give a new function to the background image of a touch screen by using the device characteristic of the touch screen. An information inputting method using an electronic device with a touch screen includes a step of inputting information including at least one of a symbol and a character by touching the background image of the touch screen(S300), and a step of driving a specific application which is able to handle the inputted information(S310). The inputted information is displayed on the touch screen in real time. |
