The container i.e. silo (1), has a covering film (3) covering a substance e.g. liquid manure (2), in the container. A part (7) of the covering film is held against a middle part (11) of a surface of the substance. Another part of the covering film contacts with a part of the surface of the substance, so that a space is formed for receiving gas. A gas suction device sucks the gas from the space, so that low pressure is generated between the covering film and the substance during utilization of the container. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a covering film for covering a substance in a container (2) a method for attaching a covering in a container for receiving gas-containing and/or -producing substances.
