<p>The applicator head (20) has a separator ribbon (12), a recovery reel (35) for the separator ribbon, and a disunion unit (50) for an impregnated fiber ribbon (11). A smoothing tool (60) provided with a sharp edge (61) is placed following the disunion unit according to the direction of travel of the impregnated fiber ribbon such that the impregnated fiber ribbon is in contact only with the sharp edge of the smoothing tool. A drive unit (40) including a motor (41) rotates the recovery reel of the separator ribbon such that the separator ribbon draws the impregnated fiber ribbon. An independent claim is also included for a device for placement of an impregnated fiber ribbon.</p> |
