<p>The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for welding metal materials of the thin metal sheets, wires or foils type in the machine building industry. According to the invention, the process consists in the fact that the metal material welding is performed by means of a sonotrode which performs simultaneously the electric pressure welding and the ultrasound welding. According to the invention, the apparatus carrying out the process, consists of a welding transformer, an electrical power plant which operates together with a static contactor with thyristors and a control and programming module which provides the communication with the user, generates the PWM signals, displays the system elements and generates welding cyclograms according to the characteristic diagram of a machine for electrical pressure welding.</p> |
