<p>The invention relates to a mechanical shock apparatus by means of which there is carried out a minimum deceleration of 490 ± 20 m/sat a frequency of 1Hz to which the pyrotechnic articles may be subjected in order to undergo a mechanical conditioning for 1 hour, according to the technical regulations in the field, and to the operation mode thereof. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises a restraining peg () to prevent the steel supporting platform () from rotating, some plates () resting on four supporting pillars () rigidly fixed in the base plate, a metal rod () for lifting the platform (), a steel support cylinder () through which the rod () axially slides, a small wheel (), a cylindrical cam () provided with a "vertical drop" of 50 mm, transmission rollers () whose diameter is calculated so as to ensure a rotational frequency for the cam of 1 Hz, a toothed drive belt (), a reducer () and a three-phase asynchronous motor () having a power of 270 W. The operation of the claimed apparatus consists in supplying the motor () with short-circuited rotor with a voltage of 380 V, the motor transmitting a rotative speed of 2800 rpm to the reducer () which reduces the rotative speed to 70 rpm, making possible, by means of the transmission rollers () which ensure the cylindrical cam () rotative speed of 60 rpm, to create the deceleration testing condition, so that, when the small wheel () at the end of the rod () supporting the platform () on which there are accommodated the pyrotechnical articles slides on the edge of the cam (), it reaches the "vertical drop" of 50 mm and suddenly lifts the platform ().</p> |
