The invention relates to a free bearing for metal pillars made of hot rolled profiles, intended to be employed in industrial bay-type constructions. According to the invention, the free bearing consists of a metal case (A), partially embedded into the pillar foundation, and the pillar base (B) introduced into the metal case (A), made, in its turn, of two hot rolled profiles (1) of U-shaped cross section, arranged back to back, with the webs parallel to the direction in which rotation is free, and two plates (4) made of thick metal sheet, welded to the bottom parts of the profiles (1), the pillar base (B) being made of two hot rolled profiles (8) of U-shaped cross section, arranged front to front, and welded together, the closed profile obtained by welding the bottom parts of the profiles (1) being provided with a slot required for introducing the pillar web, the closed profile being rigidly attached to the pillar by means of some welded seams, the bearing being achieved directly, by means of some plates (9) of thick bent metal sheet, the pillars being mounted by introducing the pillar base (B) into the metal case (A) embedded in the foundation, the pillar base (B) being additionally attached by some screws (e) preventing it from moving along a direction normal to the articulation rotation plane.
|
