<p>The invention relates to a process for determining the caloric power of wood and other lignocellulose materials intended to be used for combustion. According to the invention, the process uses a calorimeter bomb provided with its own determination software and consists in drying a wooden sample (1) to be tested in a laboratory oven, which is kept in an exsiccator, then connected to a cotton thread (2), put in a crucible (3) of a calorimeter bomb, connected to a nickeline test thread (4), the crucible (3) is connected to a cover (6) of the calorimeter bomb by two electrodes (7, 8), the cover (6) continuing with some electric wires (9, 10) for coupling the calorimeter bomb and, by screwing the cover (6) in, the bomb (11) is coupled by a socket (12) to an oxygen cylinder (Bo), then the bomb (Bo) is introduced into a calorimeter (Cu), the two electric wires (9, 10) are coupled, the cover of the calorimeter (Cu) is closed and a thermostat (T) is introduced to determine the temperature.</p> |
