Antigen Derived from Extracellular Domain of Multi-transmembrane Protein and Uses Thereof

PURPOSE: An extracellular peptide antigen of multi-transmembrane protein is provided to efficiently produce an antibody and to prevent and treat cancer and inflammation. CONSTITUTION: An antigen of multi-transmembrane protein contains polypeptides of extracellular loop. The N-terminal and C-terminal of the polypeptides are fixed on a solid substrate. The polypeptide has amino acid sequences of sequence numbers 1-21. The antigen forms a cyclic structure by attaching N-terminal and C-terminal of the polypeptides to both end of a linker. A method for screening an antibody which specifically binds to the antigen comprises a step of contacting the antigen with a humanized antibody library.
