PURPOSE: A method for providing a location based service and a method thereof are provided to offer a location based service to a user by the location of the user using a location registration management server. CONSTITUTION: If a service field of a subscriber is in an activated state, a location registration management server(150) searches a list of access nodes by service areas. If the current access node of the mobile terminal is included in the service area access node list, the location registration management server creates a service provision request. A service providing server(160) receives the service provision request from the location registration management server. The service providing server provides the location based services according to the location of the mobile terminal. |
