The present invention relates to a two dimensional size display method based on a three dimensional image output environment by outputting size information between specific points on a three dimensionally outputted structure image in a two dimensional type and enabling a designer to easily check a numerical structure relation of the structure image. The two dimensional size display method comprises: a point selection step that a selected point processing module checks three dimensional coordinate values of a first point and a second point selected in the three dimensional structure image outputted by a design device; a view mode selection step that a mode setting module checks an output appearance of the structure image and determines a mode relatively similar to the output appearance among a plan view mode where the z coordinate, which is a two dimensional image view mode, is eliminated, a section view mode where the x coordinate is eliminated and an elevation view mode where the y coordinate is eliminated; and a two dimensional information generating step that the selected point processing module changes three coordinate values into two coordinate values by eliminating corresponding coordinate values from the three dimensional coordinate values of the first point and the second point, respectively, and displays a size between the first point and the second point on the structure image based on the two dimensional coordinate values.
