PURPOSE: A biodegradable drain board containing calcium hydroxide and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily adjust a biodegrading period and to prevent residual settlement. CONSTITUTION: A biodegradable drain board containing calcium hydroxide comprises a core unit and a filter unit. The core unit is composed of biodegradable addictive containing calcium hydroxide 0.5-1.5 weight% and polypropylene or polyethylene 98.5-99.5 weight%. Biodegradable addictive containing calcium hydroxide is spread on the nonwoven surface of the filter unit and is dried.
