The rod has a light source to transmit luminous flux to a group of optical fibers. The fibers are distributed inside a profile of the rod, along different regularly spaced points. Indents made in the points receive ends of the fibers. The luminous flux is directed towards bottom. The luminous flux at the end of the fibers passes through an opal or frosted diffuser integrated to the profile of the rod.
