The broadcast signal receiving apparatus comprises: a memory unit (311); an input receiving unit (312) for receiving control input from a user; an internet port (313) for being connected to a network of an internet service provider (ISP); a broadcast receiving unit (314) for receiving a broadcast signal; a signal processing unit (320) for demodulating and decoding the broadcast signal; a content search unit (330) for searching and downloading content through the internet port (313); an electric book producing unit (340) for converting the content into an electronic book, performing component conversion for the demodulated and decoded broadcast signal, and producing an broadcast linked electronic book by inserting the converted broadcast signal into a particular part of the electronic book; and a display output unit for converting the broadcast linked electronic book according to a display device setup and outputting the converted electronic book. According to the present invention, content related to a real time broadcast and the broadcast can be simultaneously provided for a user in the form of an electronic book, and content related to a broadcast and the broadcast can be automatically and simultaneously provided for a user without a user’s search command.
