A fast data communication apparatus having a plurality of communication interfaces, a gateway thereof, a router thereof, a method for transmitting and receiving data at high speed, and an IP registration method for fast data transmission and reception are provided to achieve high-speed data communication by distributively transmitting and receiving data through a plurality of communication interfaces. A fast data communication apparatus comprises a plurality of communication interfaces(110) and a multi-protocol processing part(120). The communication interfaces process transmitted and received data according to their respective protocol schemes. In the case of transmitting data, the multi-protocol processing part distributively transmits datagrams, requested from an upper layer, through the communication interfaces. In the case of receiving data, the multi-protocol processing part compiles the datagrams received from the communication interfaces and forwards them to an upper layer. |
