The present invention relates to a method for supporting a clinical decision on chronic heart disease, comprising the steps of: storing weight information measured for a predetermined cumulative period; measuring the weight of the day; calculating an increment of the day weight compared to the minimum weight for the cumulative period; and advising measures including hospitalized treatment which a subject needs to take according to the size of the increment. According to the present invention, the old having an aversion to using equipment can easily diagnose medical conditions personally and can determine whether to visit hospital according to a guide. Thus, the old can make full use of the system without the help of social workers or other health care professionals such that an elderly-friendly health care system can be constructed while reducing social costs.
