An airbag device is provided to gradually discharge air through a vent hole from the inside of an airbag cushion to the outside by gradually adjusting the opening of the vent hole based on the expansion of the airbag cushion. For this, the air bag device by the embodiment of the present invention comprises an airbag cushion, a shielding member, and a tether. The airbag cushion expands when being injected with air and discharges the air through a vent hole formed on the airbag cushion. The shielding member shields the vent hole with one end arranged on the circumference of the vent hole to be joined to the airbag cushion and the other end arranged at the center of the vent hole. One end of the tether is joined to the other end of the shielding member to pull the other end of the shielding member in order to allow the shielding member to gradually open the vent hole.
