PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress retention of developer by filling a position where developer in a development chamber is retained without adding new components, in a developing device having a configuration in which developer is supplied from a developer storage chamber arranged below a development chamber to the development chamber above.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a development chamber; a developer storage chamber arranged below the development chamber; a partition wall that separates the development chamber from the developer storage chamber; an opening that is provided on the partition wall, and connects the development chamber and the developer storage chamber; and a developer conveying member that is provided to the developer storage chamber, and causes developer to pass from the developer storage chamber through the opening to convey the developer to the development chamber. The partition wall is provided with a convex part that protrudes toward the development chamber side. |
