PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device in which a conductive part can be prevented from protruding, and a method for manufacturing a light source device.SOLUTION: A light source device 1 includes: a light emitting element including an emitter face emitting light emitted from an element, an optical waveguide guiding the light to the emitter face, and an electrode; a support substrate including a wiring part; a silicone-containing molecular bonding film bonding the light emitting element and the support substrate; and a conductive part electrically connecting the wiring part and the electrode and formed of a conductive paste. The light source device 1 has a groove formed by blocking the end part on the emitter face side through the extension of the silicone-containing molecular bonding film, and the conductive part is provided in the groove. |
