METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ENERGY CELL AND APPARATUS FOR CONDUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method which prevents chips and peeling of layers when lamination foils of an energy cell are cut.SOLUTION: Multiple foils of an energy cell are placed in a processed portion and the foils are cut by a laser beam. A cutting head includes: a laser light source; and a nozzle for making a liquid beam (jet flow) directed to the processed portion. Since the cutting head is made for guiding the laser beam of the laser light source into the liquid beam, the jet flow of the liquid cools cutting edges of the foils and concurrently removes molten drips, chips, and/or cutting materials.
