PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable shortening of a working line and addition of a new working step to the existing working line.SOLUTION: A hanger 2 (an article V conveyed thereby) is transferred on a high-speed transfer area E1 from low-speed conveyance to high-speed conveyance and is transferred on a low-speed transfer area E2 from the high-speed conveyance to low-speed conveyance. An intruding object upon the low-speed transfer area E2 is detected by intruding object detection sensors 10 to 12 formed of a laser sensor, etc. When the intruding object is detected during the high-speed conveyance on the low-speed transfer area E2, the conveyance is stopped and, meanwhile, when the intruding object is detected during the low-speed conveyance, the low-speed conveyance is continued. On the high-speed transfer area E1, the same setting as the setting on the low-speed transfer area E2 can be performed. |
