PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container having a foamed resin layer which suppresses the generation of a blister when heated by a microwave oven.SOLUTION: A multilayer sheet for thermoforming is a multilayer sheet formed by laminating and adhering a polypropylene resin layer (Z) through an adhesive layer (Y) on one surface of a polystyrene resin foam layer (X). A thickness of the multilayer sheet is 0.5-3 mm. A ratio of closed cells is 60% or more. The apparent density of the polystyrene resin foam layer (X) is 130-350 kg/m. The basis weight of the polypropylene resin layer (Z) is 50-150 g/m. An arithmetic mean value of a shrinkage ratio in an extrusion direction and a shrinkage ratio in a width direction when the multilayer sheet is heated at 160°C for 60 seconds is 0-5%.
