PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the crosshead of a large diesel engine and a vibration compensator for optimizing transmission of power to a stand.SOLUTION: The crosshead 1 of a large diesel engine includes a base plate 2, a stand 5 and a cylinder part 6. The base plate 2, the stand 5 and the cylinder part 6 are connected to one another by a tie rod; and a sliding surface 9 is formed on support walls 81, 82 that support the crosshead 1. The first support wall 81 and the second support wall 82 extending in a lateral direction are disposed to oppose to each other and disposed at the end side 10 of the stands connected to each other via an intermediate wall 11. A vibration compensator 12 is formed in a region formed by the first support wall 81 and the second support wall 82, and first and second compensation mass bodies 121, 122 are disposed adjacently to each other in a horizontal direction with respect to the crankshaft 3. |
