An alpha-olefin polymer satisfying the following (1) to (4): (1) the average carbon-atom number of alpha-olefins constituting the polymer is 6.0 or more and 14 or less; (2) the molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn)@2.0; (3) 3000@weight average molecular weight (Mw)@600000; and (4) (Log10 Mp-Log10M1)-(Log10M2-Log10Mp)>=0.2; wherein, in a chart measured by gel permeation chromatography, M1 is the molecular weight at the starting point of the peak, Mp is the molecular weight at the peak top; and M2 is the molecular weight at the end point of the peak.
