METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MOLDED PRODUCT USING PLATED RAW MATERIAL RESIN

A method for manufacturing a molded product comprises a step of performing chemical plating on a raw material resin to provide electric conductivity to the material resin, performing electric plating on the chemically plated material resin and injection-molding the electrically plated material resin. The method of the present invention may acquire a metallic appearance directly from injection differently from conventional methods, and therefore, may eliminate the necessity of post-manufacturing process. Thus, factors that may cause defects in the post-manufacturing process can be prevented and manufacturing costs can be dramatically reduced. Furthermore, the basic color of the resin may not be obscured or impaired, to thereby enable more free implementation of color.
