PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electricity storage element which employs the use of a separator provided with a layer having low thermal weldability such as a heat resistant coated layer and is capable of inhibiting a decrease in performance.SOLUTION: An electricity storage element includes: a wound body 121 comprising a positive electrode plate 122, a negative electrode plate 123, and separators 124, 125, which are wound while being laminated, the separators being disposed between the positive electrode plate 122 and the negative electrode plate 123 and having both surfaces with different thermal weldability each other; and an insulation sheet 127 further wound around the outermost periphery of the wound body 121. At least one of the separators 124, 125 is fixedly welded to the insulation sheet 127 at the first surface having higher thermal weldability. |
