PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor insulation material which allows moisture attached to a support material to be rapidly removed, capable of preventing the occurrence of mold for a long period.SOLUTION: A floor insulation material 10 to be installed between frame bodies 1 and 1 of a floor structure and arranged below a floor face material 2 includes: an inorganic fiber mat 20 composed of inorganic fiber added with a binder containing a water repellent agent; and a sheet-like support material 30 composed of nonwoven cloth containing organic fiber, which is attached to the bottom face of the inorganic fiber mat 20, having a length extending on both sides of the inorganic fiber mat 20 in the width direction so as to cover both sides of the inorganic fiber mat 20 and further extending in a flange form so as to form an ear part. The support material 30 is a part other than a part 33 which covers both sides of the inorganic fiber mat and a part 34 which constitutes the ear part, having a surface 31a opposite to the surface in contact with the bottom face of the inorganic fiber mat, which is imparted with a hydrophilic treatment agent containing a thermoplastic resin, a surfactant having an HLB value of 8 or more, and a fungicide. |
