PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of sufficiently satisfying user's taste for external appearance of the tire assembled to a rim wheel, an assembly of a tire and rim wheel using the pneumatic tire, and a method for decorating a tire side part.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 includes a linear pattern part 9 including a pair of radial direction lines 9a extending in a tire radial direction on an outer surface 5a of a side part and a peripheral direction line 9b extending in a tire peripheral direction to connect the pair of radial direction lines 9a with each other at radial direction outer end positions of the radial direction lines 9a by printing on the outer surface 5a. The linear pattern part 9 is formed by coloring with printing on at least one of the linear pattern part 9 and an outer surface region around the linear pattern part 9. The outer surface region around the linear pattern part 9 is provided as a background decoration part 10 which is different from the linear pattern part 9 in at least one of brightness, saturation and hue. |
