PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leakage of customer information occurring when a content of appropriate transaction is printed across next receipt paper due to print position deviation by a failure or the like of a receipt printer and an inadequate cut position of each roll paper.SOLUTION: A timing mark is positioned and characters are printed, and a cut position is determined by the timing mark. A conveyance amount after printing is checked so that paper is conveyed longer than a distance from a print head to a cutter position. A paper detection mechanism on a conveying path after cutting checks timing when the paper reaches, and a paper length is monitored by the paper detection mechanism so as to prevent short receipt paper which is erroneously cut from being issued, and prevent print from remaining on the next receipt paper. When it is assumed that the print is remained on the next receipt paper, the paper is collected as abnormality and a recovery means such as retry is conducted to prevent the print from remaining on the next receipt paper by printer control. |
