PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for charging of an electric car by both plug-in system and non-contact power supply system, by using an AC-DC dual-purpose charger, and to prevent short circuit.SOLUTION: The shared charger of plug-in charging and non-contact power supply includes a single AC-DC dual-purpose charger 12 for converting an AC voltage and a DC voltage into a DC voltage suitable for charging an in-vehicle battery 9, an AC breaker 16 for plug-in charging located between a charging socket 4a connected directly with a charging plug 3a and the AC-DC dual-purpose charger 12, and connecting them when the AC voltage therebetween exceeds a first threshold V1, otherwise disconnecting them, a rectifier 14 connected with a power receiving coil 4b receiving non-contact power supply from a power supply coil 3b and converting an AC current supplied from the power receiving coil 4b into a DC current, and a DC breaker 18 for non-contact power supply located between the rectifier 14 and the AC-DC dual-purpose charger 12 and connecting them when the DC voltage therebetween exceeds a second threshold V2 otherwise disconnecting them. |
