PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device that is excellent in seal durability and can maintain low sliding torque even in a high-pressure condition.SOLUTION: A sealing device includes a fixed lip 12 and sliding lip 13 which extend to a sealed space A side and are concentric with each other. A pressure receiving groove 14 is consecutively formed in the circumferential direction between the fixed lip 12 and the sliding lip 13. A sliding projection 131 is consecutively formed in the circumferential direction at a sliding part of the sliding lip 13. A first slope 131b which extends from a ridge part 131a of the sliding projection 131 to a tip side of the sliding lip 13, has a less steep slope than a second slope 131c which extends from the ridge part 131a to a root side of the sliding lip 13 (&thetas;<&thetas;), and thus the ridge part 131a is located, deviating to an anti-sealed space B side in the sliding projection 131. |
