PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide induction hardening equipment for a shaft-shaped workpiece, which can stably provide a high quality hardened state to the shaft-shaped workpiece by preventing axial movement of the shaft-shaped workpiece from occurring when the shaft-shaped workpiece is induction-heated using a heating coil.SOLUTION: Induction hardening equipment includes: support rollers which horizontally support a supplied shaft-shaped workpiece from below and have two sets of front and rear support rollers disposed at a prescribed interval in the axial direction of the shaft-shaped workpiece, each of the two sets having a pair of rollers; a heating coil and a cooling jacket which are disposed between the opposed surfaces of two sets of the front and rear support rollers; a transistor inverter which can supply induction current to the heating coil; and a cooling water supplying part which can supply the cooling water into the cooling jacket. In the outer circumferential surfaces, on the opposed surface sides, of the one pair of the rollers out of two sets of the front and rear support rollers, magnets preventing the axial movement of the shaft-shaped workpiece positioned in the support rollers are buried. |
