PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical article assembly to be used together with a reduced-pressure wound healing system that does not require two or more different pressing coats for one patient in consideration of discomfort, uneven pressure applied, difficult putting on/off, and edema formed.SOLUTION: A directional force is developed under reduced pressure, and such a directional force may be a radial force or a closing force. A medical article assembly 30 is composed of a molded medical article cushion 32 having a molded distal end 33 that delivers evenly the radial force and acts in a way to distribute the reduced pressure. This molded distal end is configured to use various shape. In addition, the distal end is configured to have an overdrape 62 to form a seal to part of epithelium of a patient on the medical article cushion. |
