PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide operation management method and device of storage battery capable of minimizing deterioration by performing state management of storage batteries or the like without stopping power supply to a load by using a battery pack consisting of a plurality of storage batteries.SOLUTION: A management control unit 150 determines a battery column 111 for UPS operation and a battery column 111 for PSOC operation by calculating the state quantity of each battery column 111 of a battery pack 110. The PSOC operation and UPS operation are switched every predetermined period, so that the battery column 111 is not operated only by PSOC operation for a long time.
