The invention relates to a method of manufacturing an electrode, comprising the following steps: a) depositing of catalytic growth seeds 3 on an electrically conducting support by aerosol spraying, b) growth of oriented carbon nanotubes 4 on the basis of the deposition of the catalytic growth seeds 3, c) a deposition of sulphur 5 on the oriented carbon nanotubes 4 formed in step b), and d) a deposition of a layer of carbon (6) on the sulphur (5). The invention also relates to an electrode, as well as to a battery comprising such an electrode, comprising an electrically conducting support and oriented carbon nanotubes 4 disposed on the surface of the electrically conducting support and covered at least partly by sulphur 5, the oriented carbon nanotubes 4 exhibiting a length of greater than 20mum, preferably greater than 50mum. |
