The system (2) has a photovoltaic system (8) for generating electrical power, and an electrical energy storage (12) electrically connected with a photovoltaic module (10) for partially storing the generated electrical power. A heat pump device (18) controls temperature of a building (4). The heat pump device is electrically connected with the electrical energy storage. A fluid conduit arrangement (24) is connected with the heat pump device and partly underneath a photovoltaic cell area of the module. A carrier device is designed as a carrier tub made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy. The heat pump device is designed as an ice heat pump heat pump. The electrical energy storage is designed as a rechargeable battery. An independent claim is also included for a method for supplying power to a building.
