The receptacle (1) has a receiving space (30) that is electrically contacted with a cylindrical pin contact (2). A cylindrical shaped contact grid is introduced into an inner jacket (11) of a cylindrical contact bush (10) to define an inner space in the receiving space. The contact grid is provided with several radially circumferentially spaced contact tongues (22). A contact portion of the contact tongues is projected into the receiving space through apertures (21) formed in the contact grid.
