<p>Provided is a high-pressure steam sterilization method which enables the obtainment of a sterilized article that can be effectively prevented from being adhered with moisture or a solid foreign matter within a short time without requiring an enormous energy. A high-pressure steam sterilization method for obtaining a sterilized article by exposing an article to be sterilized to a steam environment having a high temperature and a high pressure to achieve the high-pressure steam sterilization of the article, wherein a medical tool is employed as the article to be sterilized. A high-pressure steam sterilization method characterized in that an article to be sterilized is packed in the inside of a microorganism-impermeable packaging material having a steam-permeable part as at least a part of the packaging material to form a packaged body, the article is pre-heated at 50 to 110°C prior to the exposure of the article to steam having a high temperature and a high pressure, and the steam having a high temperature and a high pressure is then introduced into the inside of the packaged body through the steam-permeable part of the packaging material to achieve the high-pressure steam sterilization of the article, thereby obtaining the packaged body composed of the microorganism-impermeable packaging material and the sterilized article packed in the inside of the packaging material.</p> |
