A fuel cell stack (10) has a plurality of stacked cell units (A1) in which a film electrode assembly (30) is disposed between two separators (40, 41) and also has cooling fluid flow paths (S3a, S3b) formed respectively for allowing a cooling fluid to flow between adjacent cell units (A1). The cooling fluid flow paths (S3a, S3b) are provided with displacement absorbing members (Ca, Cb), which have a plurality of displacement absorbing protrusions (50), which absorb displacement in the stacking direction (a) for the cell units (A1), and also the displacement absorbing protrusions (50) of the displacement absorbing members (Ca, Cb) are disposed so as to counteract the bending moments arising in the cell units (A1). |
