PURPOSE: A food waste disposal device for a sink is provided to prevent a motor from being damaged as a gear on a driving shaft is separated when hard foreign substances flow in the food waste disposal device and prevent a hydrating roller from being damaged as the hydrating roller moves to the upper part. CONSTITUTION: A food waste disposal device includes a main body (100), a cutting unit (200), a dehydration unit (300), a drainpipe (400), a post-processing unit (50), and a vent pipe (600). The main body is divided into a first chamber of the upper side and a second chamber of the lower side by a partition including an inlet. The cutting unit is installed in the first chamber, and the dehydration unit is installed on the inlet side. The vent pipe is installed on one side of the dehydration unit and drains moisture. The post-processing unit is installed in the second chamber and sterilizes and dries food waste which is dehydrated. The vent pipe discharges smell generated in the second chamber. |
