PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery improved in durability.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a nonaqueous electrolyte containing an electrolyte and a nonaqueous solvent dissolving the electrolyte; a negative electrode and a positive electrode capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium ions; and a separator including a polyolefin-based resin as a part of the constituent. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains a compound having a carbon-carbon triple bond, the separator contains calcium elements, and the concentration of the calcium elements contained in the separator is 300 ppm or less.
