PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a piezoelectric motor compact while simplifying the structure.SOLUTION: The piezoelectric motor moves an object by vibrating a vibration body containing a piezoelectric material in the bending direction and stretching direction, and bringing a protrusion provided at an end of the vibration body in the stretching direction into contact with an object. Any one of a housing case or a support is provided with a guide shaft in parallel with the stretching direction of the vibration body, and the other of a housing case or a support is provided with a guide hole through which the guide shaft can be inserted slidably. Furthermore, the support and the housing case are connected by means of a leaf spring thus energizing the housing case in the stretching direction of the vibration body. Since the vibration body can be guided so that it can move in the stretching direction but cannot move in the bending direction or the thickness direction, structure of a piezoelectric motor can be simplified and the piezoelectric motor can be made compact.
