PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt having conductivity higher than a conventional one; provide a thermal battery having excellent output characteristics in a low temperature range rather than a conventional thermal battery or being small in size and light in weight; and improve chemical stability of the molten salt which is difficult or impossible with conventional technology.SOLUTION: A molten salt containing at least two types of salt has a melting point of 350°C or more and 430°C or less, and conductivity at 500°C of 2.2 S/cm or more. A thermal battery includes the molten salt as an electrolyte. |
