PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor system in a water heater 2 capable of performing a hot water supply operation for supplying hot water to a hot water part 4 other than a bathtub 3 in a bath room and performing a hot water filling operation for supplying hot water to the bathtub 3, which can display whether shower bathing is more energy-saving as compared to bathing by hot water filling to a user in an easily understandable way upon the shower bathing.SOLUTION: A monitor system in a water heater includes: a reference consumption amount storing means 52 for storing an energy amount consumed in a hot water filling operation as a reference consumption amount; a consumption amount recognizing means 53 for recognizing a consumption energy amount at each point of time when being consumed during the hot water filling operation; a hot water consumption amount storing means 54 for storing a hot water consumption amount being a value obtained by integrating consumption energy amount recognized in the consumption amount recognizing means 53; a calculation means 55 for calculating a remaining time required until the hot water consumption amount reaches the reference consumption amount when performing a hot water supplying operation with a consumption energy amount at the present point of time which is recognized by the consumption amount recognizing means 53; and a display means 6 for displaying the remaining time calculated by the calculation means 55. |
